It is my pleasure to invite you to join me at a benefit screening of the documentary film "Thread", to be shown at Cedar Crest College on Wednesday March 31. All proceeds go directly toward assisting the Afghan associates of the Business Council for Peace.

The showing of the film will be followed by a panel discussion on the current state of Afghanistan. This is unique opportunity to see inside the lives of families that, just like our own, are trying to build a successful future for themselves and their country. However, unlike us, these families are doing so in the midst of political and cultural turmoil. I promise you that after attending this event, you will never view the news reports about Afghanistan quite the same way again ... and the women of Afghanistan will have found a place in your heart.
